Welcome to the Sarasota Audubon Society. As a local chapter of the National Audubon Society, we're dedicated to the protection, conservation and enjoyment of birds, wildlife and the environment here in sunny Sarasota.

There are many ways you can get involved:

• Attend one of our monthly meetings, where you can network with other nature lovers and enjoy an educational program about an exciting environmental or wildlife related topic.

• Join us for a birding trip. (No experience required.)

• Participate in clean-up activities of our adopted road, Palmer Boulevard.

• Become a member of Sarasota Audubon! Our members receive an informative newsletter, the Brown Pelican, and enjoy supporting one of the oldest conservation and education oriented environmental nonprofits in our area.

2010 Scholarship Application - our scholarship program provides a limited number of college scholarships to graduating Sarasota County high school seniors who plan to pursue environmental careers.
