WALKS AT OSCAR SCHERER STATE PARK
Enjoy a 2-mile walk every Thursday, October through
March (except Thanksgiving). See Scrub Jays, bobwhites, towhees,
woodpeckers, and other flatwood species. Meet inside the park at 8:30 a.m.
at Lake Osprey/Nature Center. Park fee.
Bring Lunch or
join us for Pancake breakfast before the walks January through March only.

CHICK CHECK WALK
With experienced beach nesting bird monitors. Let's see how our beach nesting birds are doing. Search for Snowy Plovers,
Least Terns and Black Skimmers, all imperiled species and all getting ready

at the Corner of Ben Franklin and Ringling Blvd. at 8 am.
Kids will be given bingo cards and sent out to hunt for
various plants, birds, critters. Meet in the pavilion.
