SUMMARY:Guided Walks - North Longboat Key/Leffis Key
DESCRIPTION:Stu Wilson (512-897-8341) and Cathy Paris will meet you at the entrance to Broadway Beach; 7001 Seabreeze Ave. (West end of Broadway St. @ north end of LBK) then the group will go to Leffis Key at the south end of Bradenton Beach on Gulf Drive South. \nFirst\, we will look for migratory shorebirds on the beach and then migrant warblers\, vireos\, etc. at Leffis Key. Beach sand walking and sand paths/boardwalks; mainly in the sun. \nRestrooms are located just south of Leffis Key at boat launch\, also at Coquina Beach across the street.

The walk will be about 2 miles of beach and sandy paths. The beach will be sunny and the woods mixed sun and shade. \nNo restrooms are available.

DESCRIPTION:After passing through the main entrance (SR-72)\, make the first right-hand turn and follow to the parking lot. \nStu Wilson (512-897-8341) and Cathy Paris will lead you through the park\, stopping along the main park road to find birds. Bring a lunch or buy one at the concession stand. Participants are free to drop off the tour at any time or join the leaders for lunch. \nThere is an entrance fee to the state park. \nRestrooms are available.
