Birding in Alaska with Tammy & David McQuade and October Monthly Meeting – Zoom

Alaska with its vast wilderness is home to some of the best birding in North America with its mass of migrant shorebirds, nesting waterfowl and Asian vagrants. Please join the McQuade’s as they discuss the where, what, & how of birding in Alaska.

David and Tammy McQuade were highschool sweethearts, married for 35 years and big year birders. They have had 3 consecutive years with over 700 birds in the US.

In 2019 they did a “working big year” seeing 788 species of birds in the United States while working full-time. In addition, they administrate the SW Florida Bird Alert Group on Facebook and Dave is on the board of the American Birding Association. They love to share their birding experiences with local birding organizations. Registration is required for this event. Please click here to register.
