Purple Martin Season 2024

We will be starting to bring the Purple Martin houses down on Thursday, Feb 22, and Sunday, Feb 25, at 11:00 AM.   As the weather warms up, we’ll be moving back to 10:00 – to keep our volunteers from swooning in the heat but still allow time for the bugs to get flying so the parents can get their babies fed before we bring down the houses.  We will continue the Thursday / Sunday schedule for the season, weather-dependent.
