To receive eBird Rare Bird Alerts for Sarasota or any ABA location desired
– Go to: https://ebird.org/home
– Sign in or create an account
– Find and click on Alerts (lower right of the home page)
– Look for Rare Bird Alerts, Email alerts for rare birds
– Enter your desired alert location(s) (example Sarasota, Florida) and click subscribe
You ought to receive daily (about 5PM) Emails of rare birds seen in your desired location(s), IF rare birds are seen and recorded in eBird.
